Did a tour of the lake and visited all the sites. This would be 4 of the 5. It is well-worn, with not much firewood available. However, it has great tent pads and hammock trees, featuring some very unique elements. A great place to visit, but it wouldn't be my first choice for staying.
It is tops for parking on the lake

What a nice campsite! The kitchen faces due south with unlimited stargazing rocks. It also faces a slightly protected area behind the small islands, which was nice for fishing when Big Moose was otherwise capping over. Throughout the campsite and surrounding woods there are huge boulders and slabs that give the campsite a unique character. We were able to setup a tent a little further back to protect from the south winds while we were sleeping. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent canoe landing. There are a few granite fingers running out into the lake as well as large rocks that provide excellent views and makeshift fishing piers. Nice firegrate area which provides a nice view of the islands just out from the site. Has nice trees for every purpose. Even some oak trees in & near camp!! Rocky ground makes finding an optimum pad near the firegrate somewhat of a challenge, depending on tent size. But there are some nicer ones back away in the woods.
