Nice breezy sloping rock site with a great view. Kitchen is out on the rock, not in the woods. Good spots for tarps, hammocks, and tents. Unfortunately it was pretty buggy in June when other areas weren't, and the latrine was a warzone. Didn't catch much from camp but fishing on Iron was overall pretty good. Found a lot of trash here, including Canadian cigarette butts... had me stumped. Overall I'd stay here again if it was open but I wouldn't be happy about the required blood donations.

Very nice campsite. Kitchen fire area is tucked back in the woods though. I strung a rainfly further forward when we had rain this day to get out further to the rock area which is very nice and open to the front. Had a huge area with grass that could easily fit 3 large tents.
I will say that this is one of the most mosquito infested campsites we stayed in on an 8 day trip. I don't know why either. My daughter had to use the grumper later than normal but still light out and was nearly in tears it was so bad. It was really bad by the tent area also and the kitchen fire area as well. Only place of respite was out on the rock front area. Very good landing options. We had a Northwest wind and went around the point to the south of the site. surfed our way in and then kind of turned into a protected area. Had a slightly longer walk to the campsite but not significant.
