Just south of the portage in from Isabella Lake. There is a large boulder protruding above the water line a short distance out on the lake from this site which serves as a convenient identifying marker. Very constricted, boulder laden landing. The fire grate is right on the water; the log seating is currently severely dilapidated and doesn't offer a lot of space to move around. However, just up the hill there are multiple usable areas that could serve as tent pads for the largest of groups or a less constricting spot to hang a tarp. Good fishing nearby.

This is really a 1.5 star instead of 2 star. The campsite is in a very swampy area. The landing is small and difficult. The site is obviously not used much and is a little overgrown.

Looks nice from the water. (It was occupied.) Lots of large live trees; no apparent damage from the fire.
