I really liked this site, probably because I seem to be partial to flat, grassy campsites. The best landing is on the east side in the bay, where flat rock shelves make it easy to pull up. There is plenty of room for multiple canoes, and there is a good canoe storage area just up from the landing. From there, you walk up to a very large, flat, grassy campsite.
I think four tents could fit comfortably in the main grassy area, with a fifth possible spot in a lumpier area partway down the latrine trail. The fire grate is fairly close to the water. I would have liked it a little farther back toward the center of the site, and when I visited there was not much seating around it. The setting is scenic, with clumps of trees around the shore that provide some shade, windbreak, and a pretty lake view. There are spruce, cedars, a young white pine, and other trees around camp. One potential drawback is finding a good hanging tree. There is a dead jack pine that might work, but I would be hesitant to trust it. If you like large, open, grassy campsites, this is one of the better options I saw in the area.

Good site, good landing, lots of eagles in the area. Few trees to hang. Not many bear tree options. Big pine tree in camp is really the only option.
