I don't usually camp in large groups, but if you do this is good site for that. Lots of flat open ground to put many tents. But that is not my style of camping so I gave it 2*, also including other dislikes that don't contribute to wilderness/solitude feeling of paddling/portaging here. The road right next to the site is also a negative unless you want the safety/easy exit of the road in an emergency. The campsite is so open and right next to the road, that the usual box over a hole (toilet facilities) is actually an out house. The site also has what appears to be a nice shallow gently sloping sandy approach which looks great for swimming. But careful in the water there! There are many many leeches. Make sure you have plenty of salt if you want to swim from shore. Usual caveat for sites on this lake (low water on Potters), see most southerly camp site on this lakes review .
