Site is a good sized island, suitable for a basecamp to fish here and daytrip into Buckingham. Access with takeouts on both the E and W sides of the island. Neither is great but the W one is definitely not bad. The E-NE shore had a spare fire setup if you want to sit closer to the water for your fire. Park as many tents and hammocks here as you want, there is room. It is easy to walk all over on all but the north end, and a lot of the camp area is covered with enormous pines. Could be problematic in really big winds. Camp kitchen area is fine. You can easily fish from shore on plenty of real estate, caught walleye, pike, and smallies without much difficulty and not much to snag on. It sees a good amount of use, so expect some white flags in the ground and to search the north side of the island for wood. Lots of elevated views, SE has a nice comfy bedrock slope to spread out on and see for miles. We watched a distant lightning storm to the E, beats TV any day. Even if there are neighbors at the other sites, you will barely know it.

Really liked staying here. Spacious and open with awesome views. Great for hammocks. Couldn't really find a level tent pad. Landings are meh.

The camp site sits ontop of the island towards the center. The best place to dock your canoes is on the south west side. There were two fire pits and room for four tents. We caught pike walley and small mouth.
