Stayed here for one night. It is a very nice large site. Many tent pad locations, super easy takeout/landing, theater style log bench seating around a nice firepit, plenty of trees to put up rainflys etc... Only downside is it is a relatively buggy site, not a lot of wind exposure given location of the island its on.

Bypassed this site traveling from Rebecca Falls going south. We thought it would be an average campsite. WRONG. Great site, very open. Had to get creative with the wood supply, but we made do. Approach from the southwest to gain access.

Wide open site with nice firepit. Lots of pad options. Approach from South. Stayed here in '13 and '15. Can be really buggy w/o wind. Great photo views to S and SW from site. Agree with fishing tips of earlier reports.

Excellent site. I am picky when it comes to tent pads and this site has a nice one. It could be a bit more level but is flat enough. There is decent fishing off the front of the island looking at the small island in West. Also, a short paddle over to the falls yields great walleye fishing by walking to the tail of the falls. Land on the left side looking at the falls from the campsite and not in the obvious landing spot between the two falls. Walk up the left side to the tail waters. There is no trail and it is rough walking. We also saw a bear cub swim across McAree to the north of the falls.

Nice views, pretty site, landing marginal at low water, but may be fine at normal levels
