I was forced into this site by a thunderstorm. A lucky spot for me as the trees nearly uprooted there was a rock ledge that i could huddle beside as the straight line winds swept across the point. the fireplace is built into the side of the rock ledge which is counter top height and makes for a great prep counter. the camp area is smallish below low height cedars and jack pine. rock outcrops on three sides are great for fishing or swimming from. site catches good breezes. easy landing area off the point that is a natural slip between two rock outcrops.
