Considering you have to work to get to this point, it's not a great reward. Campsite is fairly rough and brushy. We were just passing through.

Narrow tree stump landing. Fire grate is right on the water but, doesn't face the lake. Open exposed site although there are some sheltered options for tent/tarp back away from main kitchen area. Hiking trail runs right through camp.

Site is very small but has a big mostly-flat area for a tent. Fire grate is right on the water. Partridge Lake/South Lake Trail runs right through the site, but is generally not a busy trail. Overall the site is not bad and would do for a layover.
