Beautiful, large island site! Largely spared from the fires, this campsite has a large rock outcropping and sits in a cedar grove. The only downside is the difficulty in finding suitable trees for hanging a bear track.

We stopped here for an afternoon snack; I don't remember tent pad situation. The kitchen certainly has grand views of Gabimichigami, but there's no shade to speak of. Little Sag is nicer.

High rocks above lake with nice sandy beach entry. It looks a bit bare from the water, but it's really open and beautiful at the kitchen/living area. Floor is rock, not dirt, which is nice. Tent sites are behind and protected by cedars. GREAT spot for sunsets/stargazing.

Nice spot on Gab. Plenty of room; great view; good fishing (Lake Trout; during summer)
