The landing at this campsite is very nice. It is located in a small bay on the south side of a point and consists of a smooth rock that is easy to pull up onto. There is also a small sandy area nearby, suggesting a sandy bottom in the bay. The campsite itself is flat but dusty and rocky, with sharp stones scattered throughout. Finding a good tent spot is difficult. I identified one good tent spot where a log could potentially be moved. There may be another small spot near the fire grate for a small tent. There are good hammock options, with jack pines spaced well for hanging. There is no real seating around the fire grate. The trail to the latrine is long and winding and follows the shoreline before turning inland, making it longer than expected. There are several downed trees around the site, which detract somewhat from the setting.
