A large, spread out, and exposed site that had a great western view. We had a nice western breeze during our stay that was appreciated on a hot day. Lots of berries around for picking.

I didn't stay at this site, but did check it out and wished we had stayed at this location! It is right on the point with a western facing that should make for beautiful sunsets. In windy conditions it could be a little too open, that's about the only negative I could see. There were some moose antlers left at the site too which was kind of fun to see. Didn't catch any fish while staying on Mesaba.
