Easy take-out on the northeast side of point, but the silty bottom there makes for much less pleasant swimming, as it's impossible to rinse off completely. There are stone steps accessible from about halfway to the "upstairs bedroom" that lead to a great place to climb down into the water and come out clean as a whistle. The upstairs bedroom has a large tent pad and a good spot for a hammock that overlooks the lake. The visibility is great in every direction from the kitchen area, as well as further out on the rocky point. The sunset views are excellent. The motor boats do go past regularly, but stay closer to Canada, so the noise from them isn't too bad, but we think we heard a generator going from somewhere nearby all night long. There are lots of trees for hanging whatever you've got: hammocks, clotheslines, tarps, garbage bags, utensils, water filter bags, etc. The kitchen has excellent countertops and good seating. It also has good shade in the morning and evening. The main site is mostly open to the wind, which should keep the bugs away with any sort of breeze. It's not our absolute favorite site, but I would recommend it to anyone going through the area.

Pretty large and open. Lots of very slippery sharp rocks at the shoreline, but good shore fishing opportunities. Bay landing was nice but disgusting with tons of muck, so get your water from the rocky shoreline and not the bay. Only stayed here a night but I recall decent tent, hammock, and tarp options. Prepare to see and hear a lot of motor boats.

Spacious site with great views, winds are unimpeded when blowing. Very good kitchen area and plenty of firewood available.

really liked the site on a point with north and west views and the rocky hill with more views, the photos already up do a great job of showing off the site. I'm not picky on tent pads, a few are close to the fire pit others a bit south. we had dueling thunderstorms one north and one south rolling by that evening but we were dry. the only drawback is the toilet is practically in the site, just enough bushes that only your head shows while you're busy, seemed a theme on this years trip-other areas I've been had a bit of walk to the john

Landings on both sides of the peninsula. The one on the east side is better. It is a sandy, shallow landing. Large pines are throughout the site. Roots are all over, so that limits the tent pads. Great view from the site. There is a trail from the campsite to the top of a rock with an amazing view of Snow Bay and surrounding area. This campsite is at the edge of the motor area (at least on the BWCA side), and it shows some use.
