Site had a nice flat open spot where a couple of 3 or 4 person tents would fit. Another spot was nearby that could host another 3p or 4p tent but it appeared to be in a slightly damp area. There are 2 or 3 other spots that could easily hold a 2p tent. Site was clean and spacious but the latrine is pretty full and doesn’t seem to be composting properly anymore based on the odor. Also the latrine must be directly under a popular bird roosting tree because the seat was covered in bird droppings. But the site is close to entry #41 so it is convenient for a last night on the water if you need to leave early the next morning.

a bit used and abused. But, it is nicer than some on the lake.

Campsite is nice and open with a lot of possible tent sites and trees to hang hammocks. It is up from the water and very protected which makes it a good spring and fall site, during the summer it can be buggy. The canoe landing is OK.

Adequate. Good fishing off of islands to the south at dusk - caught bass, tullibee, and walleye.

Was staying in 953 so visited other sights. Similar to 953, high sunny, might have more bugs because it is more protected from the wind.
