Beautiful views from this site! Exposed rock shelf sloping down into the lake. Getting in is a bit tricky with the angle, but fine as long as you pull the canoes all the way up. Kitchen area has trees nearby that are great for stringing up a tarp for protection from the rain as well as good seating. Tent pad we used was right near the kitchen. The walk to the latrine is relatively easy.

Night before exit to Homer, portages to Homer are not bad and got to lot in 2 hours. Nice fire area on rock beach, sloping rock into water is slippery but nice entrance for swimming. Sights scattered in woods behind, close to swamps so bug can get bad, mostly mosquitos.
