This campsite is small but feels slightly larger than it actually is. The landing is small but easier to use than the landing at the western Boulder Lake campsite.
The kitchen has a very narrow view of the lake and is fairly protected, so I wouldn't expect much wind or breeze through the site. The area is surrounded by tall white pines, and the ground is covered in pine duff.
There is one very good, large tent pad. You might be able to squeeze in a second tent somewhere, but I wouldn't count on it. Seating at the kitchen consists of a single log. Of the three campsites on Boulder Lake, I would consider this the second best.

Small site for tent campers. Bugs were bad in the kitchen area so we made dinner on the flat rock landing in the breeze. Plenty of access to firewood as I don't think this site sees a lot of use. Several tarp options if a storm is brewing. Landing does have very slippery large boulders and plenty of sharp rocks but manageable if cautious, as the previous review mentioned.

Rocky but, manageable landing. Sheltered fire grate area, as there are several mature white pines in camp which also provide a nice pine duffed floor. Not for larger groups.
