The trail to the waterfall begins on Pine Lake near the portage landing to Canoe. If coming from Canoe, there is no need to carry your canoe across the long portage.

Johnson Falls is a gem. Follow the trail from Pine Lake and be sure to check out each of the levels - lower, upper, and the marsh at the top. Enjoy a swim in the pool if the weather is warm!
