Hill, easy incline, but constant.

After a good morning paddle, it was nice to warm up with a portage. A few small hills here and amazing scenery. The gaskin landing is a little rough though. We took a short snack break on the Gaskin end, and then were on our way.

The Gaskin end is very muddy. I'm glad I didn't attempt this portage with any packs. We were just day-tripping and exploring. The Winchell end is nice.

This trail is in good shape with not nearly the amount of mud that is in other portages in this area. That said, the Gaskin landing is muddy and shallow.

A hard one for being short. The hill is very challenging.
