I was paddling south / east when crossing this portage and found it as marked on the map. There were a few beaver dams to pull over to get there. I lucked out and had a WCPP chainsaw crew go through here a few days before I did, so no trees down. Because of that, I found it to be an easy / well marked portage and was able to do it in one carry. The paddle up the Royd creek to the south of here was much more of a challenge. The most narrow/tight creek that I have found in WCPP. Many 90 degree corners that I had to pull over. I had a solo boat, so it would be worse with longer canoes.

This portage is not easy to follow as it goes right next to the swamp and is burned. One of my least favorite portages along Royd Creek and that's saying something!
