The two portages between Square Lake and Kawasachong lake are unnecessary, even in low water conditions of fall 2020. So between Kawasachong and Kawishiwi, you have a big pull over/1 rod portage beaver dam going just west of Kawas going to Square, and small beaver dam pullover going south of Square to Kawish. Fact.

This portage is no longer required. There are 2 other beaver dams farther towards Kawasachong.

Agreed with previous review. You won't need to do this portage, which is a nice improvement over the previously mucky launch on the downstream side. As was mentioned, there is a sizeable beaver dam later that will require a quick lift-over.

The beaver dam that required this portage to be here has washed away--- however, there is a new dam that is closer to Kawasachong that you'll have to portage around.
