This is not an easy portage by any means. Uphill both directions, but it is well maintained. The view coming into Clove is a pretty one, and is the motivation to keep going.

This portage is pretty well grown over. Steep incline from both sides but very noticeable from Clove Lake. Easy to navigate, even with the overgrowth. The length isn't that bad, but long as far as river portages go. There is an offshoot on the Clove Lake side to the campsite. 6/10

This portage sucks, try not to lose your shoes in the mud. Some maps call it the swamp portage, I think. It definitely lives up to its name. Personal challenge get through the portage with zero f-bombs
