It's odd to take a portage from a new route and suddenly be back somewhere you're familiar with. This was one of those times. A little bit of tricky footing as we were trying to make time to the exit.

There are some boulders & an old rock crib to avoid on the Gull Lake end. Nice trail that leads to a reasonably decent landing on Gun Lake.

Landings can be a little tricky on his one, but the portage itself is simple. The landing on Gull is a bit muddy and you have to maneuver around some rocks. The landing on Gun is on a rock slope that is slippery when wet.
