Two take outs. One is much closer to the falls. I felt 1 canoe at a time could have gotten into the closer to the falls take out when I was present at medium water with some whitewater skills no problem and unloaded. I wouldn’t want a group to gaggle here though. Everyone I saw and myself used the first safer portage. I already had my canoe unloaded and a pack hauled before I even realized a shorter option existed. Also has two put ins. Closer put in was no issue. Put in is River right and you need to move over to River left for best line out of the canyon area. Otherwise continue down to the picnic table area campsite and put in Farther down.

As dustpaddles says: stay on trail along the river. Don't follow the trails to the right (going downstream), even if you see old blazes. Some scenic views of the falls. Portage in good shape.

Heading downstream, stay left closer to shoreline to avoid following game trails into the forest. Steep put in to shorten portage was possible during low water
