This is an easy and clear carryover with good shallow landings on each end. It is easy to find. It feels as though you are going right through the campsite - but it is a legit portage. Campers at the site might not be aware of this portage as it is no longer included on official NHAL State Forest maps. It is used routinely by youth groups from Camp Manitowish.
