We had a royalex prospector so we spent a fair bit of time toying around at this portage scouting rapids to run. In the end, we only took the easy one at the start and portaged around the bigger drops later. Really cool area with loads of rapids and rocks. Also might have found a bear den down the shore a ways. The Rattle end is a bit narrow to navigate the canoe set down.

The entrance on the Little Sag side is on the south west side of the inlet with the rapids. It wasn't clear with all the debris from the fires exactly where it was at first, but then a simple up and over to Rattle.

This trail has had puddles each time I've used it. It is fairly level but, there are some rocks.
