As mentioned by other reviewers, it's a climb from Batch to Nym, but the portage is well-maintained and a lot of the climbing is on stair-like rocks.

Well used, wide open...ran into other folks here going in and coming out. The Batch side's gravel beach is a treat. Going Batch>Nym involved some huffing and puffing as there is some elevation gain - Nym is 17 meters higher.

Just remember that this one has gravel on the Batch side. Good way to distinguish from the Jump Lake portage.

Well-used portage with a good trail and good landings at both ends (Nym end is rocky, Batch is gravel.) The portage is heavily used roughly 160 rods, so it tends to accumulate folks. There is a steep section coming up the hill out of Batch, but it has nice, large steps and good footing.

Relatively easy portage. Paddle planner marks this as 620m (i.e. 124 rods), but it was definitely longer (subjectively, did not measure), so Chrismar Map's 820m (164 rods) seems more accurate.

Very well used portage that provides access into the park. Not an overly difficult portage as trail is very good. Length and a long gradual climb out of Batchewaung are the only challenges on this one.
