Low water on the Munro side led to having to traverse the edge of the mudflat for 100 yards before a deep enough channel could be located for the canoe. Otherwise, no significant issues.

The portage on the Cullen side starts right next to the Beaver dam with a rocky boulder field to negotiate at the landing.

This portage was quite pretty when we went through, but yes the beavers have changed the water level a bit. Munro is a pretty lake for sure.

Tougher landing on the Munro side in some dead trees. Beavers have been at work on Munro and Cullen and the shore of both lakes are full of drowned pine. Cullen landing is directly from a beaver dam.
