portage starts after small rocky fast water. good landings on either end, a little muddy on the north side but a generally easy and flat portage. trail drags on a little and feels longer than 300m but overall not a difficult portage. saw a moose at the Martin bay end of this trail, shallow grassy area probably a good place for wildlife spotting, keep an eye out for them

Landings are good at both ends. The trail has some short muddy sections, some up and down, but nothing really bad. Easier than average trail overall.
