Previous comments still apply - from William side it is hard to spot - it is on right, south, side of boulder field (very slippery). This very long and quite challenging, which you just have to bear down and grind through. This was the second or third most difficult portage of our trip, although you are rewarded with Conmee Lake, which is REALLY pretty.

We'd had some rain and it was a bit sloppy in sections, but overall this portage isn't too bad. The trickiest part was negotiating the boulder field on the William side. Slippery when wet! Use caution and you'll be fine.

Fairly level, and not too bad. If you're coming from William, the portage takeout can be hard to spot, as the first few rods are over large boulders. As you're facing east from the easternmost end of William, the portage is pretty far to the right side.
