There are multiple portage landings for this one. Heading against the current, we opted for the first which consisted of a steep climb up and over to another landing at the base of the falls. This is steep and slick with several challenging sections. Take your time and watch for slick, pine/spruce needle covered rock with can be slippery

Travelling upriver, this was the first of the falls chain portages that involved significant elevation gains. It doesn't get easier all day. The landings seemed safe, but we were here when water was low.

This waterfall is know DANGEROUS, and has had to have bodies plucked out of it. It is safest to do the falls chain going up river. Aka from Kenny to Saganagons. Do not get out into the main flow on top of this waterfall.

In many ways, the hardest of the bunch. Portage landing is very close to the falls in Spring. Stay close to the left shore as you approach. Traveling down stream, there is a steep climb, then a drop into a slot containing a creek, then a rough climb out and then rougher down to a crappy landing. May be possible to return to water earlier if water is low enough. Glad to see Kenny lake and a breather after the six tough portages.
