This was kind of epic for us. As other comment pointed out, we had two portages interrupted by Beaver Iris Bog "BIB" as we later referred to it. First 30 R for east is steep up then really pretty down to bog. We couldn't confirm location of other side, so I explored alone on the canoe, but it was too shallow and clogged with trees (darn beavers) to make it. Had to ferry packs 1 by 1 to landing on right (north side) and bushwhack to connect to trail again. Very labor intensive and slow. Steep on the west side. The second or third most difficult portage of the trip.

Nothing to difficult here. Somewhat tough landings on each side but the portage is no problem.

The "actual" trail is hard to find from the west. We found one that went to a beaver meadow and died out. Be sure to go far enough north on Dart lake to find the real landing. Once on the portage it is well defined and easy to follow.
