After surviving the portage from Battle, I found myself here. This portage suffered mightily in a blowdown and it shows. At least they cut trees then, but maybe not since? There were a few trees down on the portage, leaving for a little bushwhacking around. Cool scenery though. There are some monster pines left standing near this portage that this forester was more than happy to stop at. The portage is narrow, but not too bad. This portage didn't induce too much suffering in comparison to the other two on the lake.
