This is a beautiful portage trail. We paddled to the bottom of the waterfall first. The river splits through a canyon, and the smooth stone falls. The portage is further to the side, however, and we had to back up to find it. A short climb up from the river and over to Hazel

uphill walk to Hazel. Looked like there is a very pleasant stretch of river tumbling down some rocks out of Hazel, but a big group ahead of me was lunching there so I didn't check it out. Hazel landing easy, and is right across from the closest campsite.
