The landing can be difficult to find from Lynx as there is a large tree down. Look for the tree if it hasn't been cleared up and large exposed rocks that the tree uprooted. A bit steep and muddy from Lynx going into Ruby.

Long portage. We ended up leap frogging this portage with our gear. Halfway through the portage we noticed wolf prints on the muddy section and on our return found fresh wolf poop.

The nice landing on Lynx is no more - it was blocked by a huge root ball from a large fallen tree. You can squeeze in from either side now. this is a long portage with a fair amount of climb. A creek crossing on smooth wet rock can also be interesting when the water is up. The landing on Ruby is shallow.
