This campsite has a sandy landing that functions like a small beach. It's not huge, but it's big enough - about 18 feet long - and my canoe fit nicely when pulled in parallel to shore. The shoreline around the site is pretty brushy, except right at the landing.
The campsite itself is almost entirely sand with some light gravel mixed in. If you don't like sandy sites, this probably isn't going to be your favorite, because sand is the dominant feature here. The trees are mostly jack pine and cedar, and the site clearly sees a fair amount of use.
The kitchen area has a nice view of Alice Lake, which I really liked. I found three good tent pads and space for up to six tents total if you really needed that much room. While this isn't the best campsite on Alice Lake, it's still a solid option. On most other lakes, I'd happily take this site without hesitation.

Soft sandy beach with a neat kitchen area just into the trees. The benches in the kitchen area had a backrest, but faced away and didn't have a view into the lake. I imagine this could be a bonus on a day when the wind was coming strong out of the west. Opted not to stay at this location due to prevalence of stable flies on the beach. They were hungry enough to bite through long paddling pants.
