This is a very popular site, and I can see why. The landing area is excellent, with a little parking area between two flat rocks that works almost like a canoe garage stall. It is large enough for two canoes, and if more space is needed, there are plenty of gently sloping rocks out in front of the site.
The kitchen is set back about 50 feet from shore and sits about eight feet above the water. Between the kitchen and shoreline there is mostly gently sloping rock with some grass mixed in.
The kitchen itself is mostly open and surrounded by bushes, with very little shade right at the fire grate. When I have seen people here before, they seem to spend more time lounging near the landing, where there is a small group of white pines that makes a nice place for chairs or hammocks.
There are three tent pads in the main camp area, and another “honeymoon suite” tent area down a well-worn trail toward the back bay peninsula. That back area has white pines and is very scenic.
I found four good tent pads total and would call it five maximum tent pads. The main camp area is mostly surrounded by brush, with spruce farther back in the darker woods, while the white pines are concentrated near the landing and the back peninsula.

There are several good tent pads at this site. However, some of them are back in the woods and the mosquitoes were horrendous there. Especially in the low-lying area. But the other pads that are more out in the open and nearer the fire grate area were great. There is a really nice spot for a tarp and a couple of hammocks down by the lake. The fire grate area is out in the open overlooking the lake. The canoe landing can get VERY slippery. So be careful. There is a nice trail back through the woods to a large rock point that overlooks the bay. There was a pair of swans that hung out back there. It was a pleasure to see and listen to them.

Nice campsite with open space around the fire and several spaces to set up tents or hammocks. The landing is rocky and slippery when wet, but has space for multiple canoes to land. Fire pit area looks out over the lake and has several good seating options.

This was an excellent site off of the main paths. There was a lot of service berries, you could eat your fill of them in one location and then come back the next day and they'd be replenished. We had a great spot near the canoe beach for hammocks and tarps. Lots of wood for campfires. It's on an island, so bears were non existent.
