Stopped by to check out the site based on decent reviews. It does have a lot of space, with lots of pine needle covered area, but the sitting logs look saturated and most of the middle part of both are completely rotted and collapsed. It seemed really closed in and wouldn't get much breeze to blow away the mosquitoes and it had a very difficult landing. We moved on to another site on Sagus.

We really enjoyed this site! Flat, soft tent pads, sturdy trees provide protection from wind/rain, and really good fishing for 'eyes. Quiet lake...didn't see anybody while there for two days.

We stopped here for lunch. Really awesome site! The cedars made for a lot of open ground with fairly level tent pads. Nice camp kitchen and views as well. Would have enjoyed staying here, but we had miles to make.

Not a bad looking campsite, plenty of room. The only reason I didn't stay as there was a widow maker near the shore line leaning northwest-ish. I couldn't tell which direction it may fall, so a moved on. Good thing too since a windstorm blew through no less than three hours after I stopped to take a look.

Paddled by this site, looks like a great site but we had the far southeast site in mind for the night. Close to the water, level and very protected from the wind. I gave it a 4 star just because I never walked the site, only viewed it from the canoe.
