Beautiful site! We had a moose in camp during dinner and a cow and calf across the water in the morning. The southern landing is the easiest. Decent tent spots for small to medium-sized tents. When we arrived, there were lots of limbs and trees down so be wary of wind. Swampy behind camp so there may be lots of bugs later in the year. We used the small rock cliff for our tarp and it worked well as a shield from the wind. Great spot!

Lots of seating / food preparation space with a large cedar log through the middle of the site in addition to three logs around the campfire.
Good swimming off the end of the large rock. If there's a group at the nearby site you will hear them.
Saw a moose and otters near the marshy area heading towards VIsta.
Great for a large group!
About a 2.5 hour paddle from the Poplar Lake landing

Very large site. A couple of good landings. Good place to see moose. Although there are several tent pads none of them are suitable for a large tent. For smaller tents this is a great site.

This site is absolutely great. Agree with the other review, it is further North than indicated on this map. There are two great rocks for sitting, one on the East side and one on the North. The North rock has a large crack in it that could be dangerous at night. Didn't get a chance to fish it, but that rock looks to have pretty good fishing out front.
