Steep heading toward Eddy, but at least it isn't long. The falls are definitely worth stopping to check out!

Steep, but short enough. Nice landing on the Eddy side. Oh, and there's a waterfall to look at too. ;)

Steep coming from SAK. Gorgeous views of Getty Falls. Landing on SAK can be slippery. Landing on Getty is nice. 2/5.

Good portage, steep coming from Knife and a lot of traffic through here. It's worth the little bushwhack off trail for the falls. Quite pretty.

Mostly uphill from knife. A good place to stop for a snack or lunch.

Short but uphill the entire way from Knife to Eddy. Also very busy.

Uphill enough to burn, short enough to be enjoyable.

You feel this one in your thighs - some climbing. Don't miss the waterfalls just to the east of the trail. You can either paddle up to the creek near the portage and walk in from there or there is a spur trail off the portage. Either way it is worth the break to see them.

This portage climbs about 80 feet in only 30 rods. It's steep so take your time.
