We had an evening start and were trying our best to make Bootleg somewhere closeish to nightfall, but we couldn't help but stop and enjoy the falls for a little while. Even in low water these were impressive!

Easy portage next to the falls. We stopped on our way back for a snack and saw a moose cross the river north of here.

As should be expected, a corresponding climb up alongside the enchanting hydraulic flume on a decent, short path. You'll definitely want to spend some time here, as there are many excellent spots to comfortably sit and absorb the scene. As well as some faint trails that make for fairly easy exploration of the nearby terrain.

Short portage, a bit of a climb but easy walking. A bit awkward load/unload at the bottom (water level is about a foot below rocks). Great picnic site at top of falls.

Short trail, climbs up a bit but certainly not far. Good picnic spot at the falls here. No problem areas.
