Yep, muddy at the end. Makes it fun!

The muddy landing on the South side was exacerbated by low water conditions. Tighten your shoelaces.

Landing on South Lake side was a 30 foot slog through boot sucking mud in dry 2021. Otherwise the portage is a simple up and over. Beware poison ivy along the path.

The South Lake landing is very muddy, but easy enough to find from boot prints in the mud. Small climb, otherwise nothing to be too concerned about on this one. 2/5
