A nice easy first portage to enter the wilderness from East Bearskin. Nice pine trees and nothing too challenging.

This portage is absolutely covered in beautiful old pines. There's a cool tunnel of trees heading to the Alder end. Wonderful portage.

This portage by far is the easiest route to Alder. Decent landings and take offs from either side. Strong West winds however will make landing difficult.

ABout as easy as a portage of this length could be. Some impressive mature pines along the trail. This trail is the more user friendly portage to Alder (from East Bearskin). The trail from the northern arm is quite challenging.
