A nice site, but fairly consistent canoe traffic in the channel. We didn’t catch any fish from shore despite the deep drop off. Kids had fun swimming between the island and peninsula.

Pros, nice inlet area, with a waterway to the north and south of the lake. Nice tent pads, but no shade.

Beautiful tucked away little site. The channel between the island and mainland made for a fantastic swimming hole.

Group of 8. Three tents 2 hammocks. All had great places. The site is actually in the straight on the West side of the island, we paddled around the East and almost gave up on finding it. Swam in the straight in the afternoon. Caught Smallmouth and Pike off the shore in the morning.

A decent camp site on a rather busy lake. As this is an easy paddle, there seemed to be a lot of first day paddlers and campers with younger kids here.
The site is rather open but we still found a nice place for a hammock near the water. Limited views of sunrise/sunset, but it did have a decent place to swim in the channel.

Large campsite, it was a busy lake. The campsite was good except the latrine was full.

Nice large site with plenty of tent pads. Perfect for a big group. There are 3 close to the fire grate and 1 a little further away. Firegrate faces the channel, so quite a bit of privacy from the open lake, but limits the sunrise/sunset views. We arrived at camp around 3 in the afternoon, set up, and the next morning when we were making breakfast, we had a young moose walk out into the water and swim across the channel about 20 yards from us. The entire site is surrounded by trees, and faces the channel, so I could see it getting buggy later in the summer. Even at the end of May they were starting to come out. Polly is definitely a busy lake
