This stretch had relatively low water in summer, 2023. We were cautious and took the first landing, only to discover this led to a bog before the actual landing. With caution you can proceed to the side of the falls (west) and find the actual portage. The north side is rocky and steep, but remainder is an easy walk over if heading up-current.

This portage isn't too bad, considering it is part of the falls chain.

This was not a bad portage for us. We actually took brief naps here as today was scheduled as a short day anyways. Also the scenery was quite nice.

Compared to the six portages upriver from this one, relatively easy and shortish. Fairly flat.
